Tips for joint and bone health
The #cuecuma is a root, known as the "internal healer", also as Golden Milk or golden milk.
It is a delicious turmeric-based drink with numerous benefits, especially recommended for joint problems, lack of flexibility, arthritis, natural anti-inflammatory, natural antibiotic, antioxidant or simply insomnia.
Golden milk is rich in nutrients and health properties because it contains curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric; rich in polyphelons that act in more than 150 therapeutic activities. Golden milk is not suitable for consumption by pregnant women or for people who have had a surgical operation for the anticoagulant properties.
Making the turmeric paste
Ingredients:
1/4 cup turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper.
1/2 cup of filtered water
Steps:
Mix all the ingredients in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat while stirring constantly until the mixture turns into a thick paste. This does not take much time so it is necessary that we be attentive to the process.
We let this mixture cool down and then we store it in a small jar in the fridge.
Phase 2: Elaboration of the Golden milk
Ingredients:
1 cup of almond milk (hemp or coconut are also good options)
1 teaspoon of coconut oil
1/4 teaspoon or more turmeric paste
Honey
Steps:
We combine all the ingredients, except for the honey in a saucepan. We lower the heat to medium intensity. We must heat the mixture well, stirring constantly but without boiling. Once finished we can add honey to taste.
Taken at night before going to bed, it will ensure a peaceful and very restful sleep.
